TYTON-SIT-PLUS®-gasket

The TYTON-SIT-PLUS gasket, featuring vulcanized restraining clamps made of hardened stainless steel, enables a restrained connection of cast iron pipes and fittings with TYTON-sockets. Our gaskets are certified according all current European codes and regulations and particularly meet the latest UBA requirements.

A combined sealing and restraining gasket to realise restrained joints for water supply and wastewater disposal systems according to DIN EN 545 and DIN EN 598. For the installation of pressure pipes and fittings with TYTON-sockets.
The installation manual for ductile iron pressure pipes and fittings with TYTON® joints has to be followed!
The pressure rating PFA of the joint depends on the wall thickness of the connected pipe end. Number of restraining clamps N and maximum degree of angular deflection α as schown in the table.
An additional marking ring out of NBR material indicates the restrained joint once the installation is completed.
